Our Story

Founded in 2018 by artist and cake designer Daena Cunningham, The Dessert Studio NYC is a bespoke cake art studio specializing in one-of-a-kind cakes, sweet treats, and pastries. Blending her background as a mural artist, calligrapher, and devoted chocolate cake aficionado, Daena creates edible works of art that look as incredible as they taste. Because at The Dessert Studio, we believe you eat with your eyes first.

With love and gratitude to her mother, Carol Elaine (SIP), whose cherished Spiced Pumpkin Roll recipe helped inspire it all.
